Mannequin Photo Gallery
 |
This is a basic shot of a mannequin that I purchased. I brought the mannequin to test out
various light configurations with different types of light modifyers that I purchased. I do not
have a supply of models so this seem the best why to see what I could do with various types of real
and artificial lights. Once I started to put clothing on the mannequin my creative side took over
and I started to blur the lines between a mannequin and a real person. The real surpise came when
some of the images that I posted on various groups on Fine Art Americia were shown on the feature
page of some of these groups.
Every image below was photographed from the same mannequin. There are limitations
with what a photographer can do with a mannequin. Very little movement in how you can
place the arms and legs. You can't use the mouth to change facial expression. But depending what
software programs or positions you photograph from, you can make the mouth and body look a
little different. Also the background and whatever costume you put on the mannequin can influence
the look.
